BOB'S BARRELS AND BOXES TO REDUCE LANDFILL IN MORAY
As part of our training programme, Bob Mulholland (Company Manager) has been developing a variety of products ranging from bird boxes and squirrel feeders to dog kennels and duck houses. These will be manufactured and sold at our Waterford site.
We have already received a lot of interest from visitors who wish to purchase hand-crafted items made from reclaimed timber. Bob is keen to develop this side of the project even further and will be producing ever more innovative creations once the new workshop is ready.
The woodworking project provides a great opportunity for our trainees to develop new skills and experience the sense of achievement which comes from creating something with their own hands.

Bug box - ideal for encouraging ladybirds, lacewings and other friendly insects into your garden. The box is sold ready assembled with space for you to add your own materials. We used a mixture of bamboo, twigs and plastic tubes in the example mouseover picture on the right. You can use any materials you have to hand as long as they have a cylindrical or tubular shape.
